· Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
· Provide product information and demonstrations.
· Report customer feedback to management.
· Sell products and offer technical services.
· Stay updated on market trends and competitors.
· Quote prices, record orders, and arrange deliveries.
· Solicit orders from industrial and business clients.
· Develop and implement safety procedures.
· Prepare cost estimates and progress reports.
· Conduct production tests (temperature, density, pressure, etc.).
· Establish safety and efficiency standards.
· Specify production methods and quality standards.
· Perform lab studies and pilot tests for new products.
· Develop labour utilisation standards.
· Analyse organizational functions and eliminate duplication.
· Manage project labour, materials, and equipment delivery.
· Set policies for installation, testing, and maintenance.
· Optimise workforce and equipment efficiency.
· Inspect plants to improve performance.
· Advise management on new methods and equipment.
· Coordinate with supply departments for steady material flow
Minimum qualifications and/or competencies:
· B-Tech/Diploma in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering (or related)
· Medical fitness for ceramic work environment
· Valid driving license (compulsory)
